The buzz just got bigger...


This just in: Tickets have sold so fast that Muvico is opening up a second auditorium to screen "Just the Two of Us." ...

The premiere screening of "Just the Two of Us" will be shown at the Muvico Theatre this Thursday. This movie was filmed entirely in Memphis and directed by Memphis native Keenon Nikita, who appeared in Craig Brewer's film "The Poor and the Hungry." Director of Photography is Rod Pitts, another local filmmaker (www.pittstopproductions.com). A large cast of local talent appears in this full-length feature.

The autobiographical film centers on the relationship between Keenon's character, Nic Peeples and his daughter, Ashley. The movie starts at 7:30PM and there will be a party at Isaac Hayes' immediately following the screening. The Premiere ticket will also admit the ticket holder into the after party with some of the cast members from the film and local and national special guests. The after party will consist of performances by various artists featured on the soundtrack. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased between 12 pm and 7 pm at Muvico downtown Peabody Place today and Thursday.
