Memphis Brooks Museum of Art will screen the film Four Eyed Monster on Tuesday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m. The film is the second installment in a series of monthly screenings featuring top films from major festivals around the world that have yet to find a theatrical distributor.
Four Eyed Monster is the story of one couple's attempt to re-invent modern romance. Arin and Susan's creative approach to interaction gets out of control as they try to build a serious relationship while not devolving into the "four eyed monster" that other couples around them have become. Called "an Annie Hall for the 25 year old set," Four Eyed Monster follows the two creative and determined hipsters through their relationship as they try to avoid mediocrity.
Audience members will have the opportunity to rate the film after Tuesday's screening. These results will be combined with those of the other participating venues to determine the winning film at the end of the series in November.
Tickets are $5 for Brooks members and $7 for non-members and may be purchased on the day of the screenings. For more information, call 901-544-6208.
