Entries are being accepted for Li'l Film Fest 13: BEWARE! The Sivads of March
Li'l Film Fest pays homage to Memphis' legendary Monster of Ceremonies, Sivad, host of WHBQ-TV's "Fantastic Features" from 1962 to 1972.
Films must be under five minutes and will have eight instances of ambitious alliteration - verbal, visual, anywhere, anyhow, (2) make use of the secret ingredient: smoke or fog, and (3) include a minimum of one likeness of Sivad in your film. Notations of these elements must be submitted.
Entry Deadline: Postmarked Friday March 5, 2010 (in hand by Monday, March 8th)
Entry Fee: $10.00
Festival will be at 2 p.m. March 27, 2010 at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art
Prizes: Grand Jury Award ($500) is presented by The Memphis & Shelby County Film and Television Commission.; Audience Choice Award is the take from admission to the screening.
Besides The Memphis and Shelby County Film and Television Commission, other sponsors include the Brooks Museum, Indie Memphis and AudioGraphics Masterworks.
