The Orpheum Theatre is pleased to announce the 2006 Summer Movie Series Poster Design Contest. Participants are asked to design a movie series poster to showcase the two (2) summer movie series that will be featured during the Orpheum’s 2006 series. Guidelines for the design:
* The poster should showcase both sub series “Classics" and "Cult Classics"
* The dimensions of the poster must be 16” or 18” wide X 24” tall
* Movie titles and dates will be added to the winning poster at a later date therefore submitted designs should allow room to accommodate this necessary information
All entries for the Summer Movie Series Poster Design Contest must be received by April 14, 2006 at 5 p.m. Entries should be a pdf and either e-mailed to mac@orpheum-memphis.com or delivered on a disc to The Orpheum Administrative Office at 203 S. Main Street from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays or mailed to The Orpheum Theatre/ Summer Movie Series Poster Design Contest/ P.O. Box 3370, Memphis, TN 38173.
