Memphis is among 10 cities chosen as destinations for the IFC Free Film Fest at the Memphis Pink Palace Museum running July 31st through August 2nd.
The outdoor film fest will screen uncut indies, including Raising Arizona, The Princess Bride, and Napoleon Dynamite. It's sponsored by the Independent Film Channel (IFC) and Comcast. Local filmmakers can have their shorts showcased at the Media Lab Lounge; films should be submitted to the web site below by July 20th.
The event, which features local filmmaker Craig Brewer, starts each night at 6 p.m.For more info, go the the Memphis Flyer site.
