The Tennessee Film Production Advisory Committee public hearings are being held in Memphis next month. These discussions will address offering incentives to TV and movie productions much as Louisiana has been successfully doing. It would mean money for the state of Tennessee and jobs for actors, crew and others.
It's Oct. 12 at the Memphis Botanic Gardens, 750 Cherry Road, from 2-4 p.m. A reception with committee members will be held right after.
There is another session on Sept. 28 in Nashville at the Belcourt Theatre, 2102 Belcourt Ave., from 2-4 p.m.
