"Grim Sweeper" is looking for extras on Sunday, October 2nd. It's a bar scene at Neil's Bar on the corner of Madison & McLean. We need extras 21 and up. Shoot is from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. Please arrive by 6:45 a.m. Craft services will be provided. Please do not wear bright colors or items with readable logos or sports teams. More details regarding a previous post: Filmmaker Brian Pera is shooting a party scene this Sunday, October 2nd, starting at 10 a.m. for a movie called "Other Way Round" in which there will be crowd scenes and some speaking parts in the form of "casual" conversations caught on film. The party will be a daytime party in the movie so would be trendy casual dress. All ages, 20s and up. The address is 2400 Parkway Place, which is a block north of Sam Cooper off East Parkway, down the street on the left. Call him at 490-3151 or just show up a little early.

Indiewire has a splendid interview with the director of "Forty Shades of Blue." Among Ira's observations:

I think initially we set out to make a realistic drama and we ended up making something much more controlled and I think that's what gives the film its strength, because you feel that there's a hand guiding you. I used to want to hide that hand. And I don't want the hand to wave at you, but I want you to feel like you can relax within a story being told and an emotion being elicited.

I need as many people as possible for a party scene to be filmed Sunday, October 2nd. The camera will travel the room picking up fly-on-the-wall conversations and I would like strong actors to participate, as I'd like those conversations to be convincing. Anyone available that day? Contact me if so. The movie is called "Other Way Round" and shoots in Memphis and Arkansas throughout the month of October.
